second month of the year. Most of the months have 30 or 31 days in a month but

February is shorter. February has 28 days until Julius Caesar gave it 29 and 30 days

every four years. This is because the Roman emperor Augustus took one day from

February and added that to August because August was a month that was named

after him. February is a very cold month followed by January in the northern half of

the world. However, there are sunny days in February that indicates that spring is

almost here. Different from the northern half, the southern hemisphere usually

enjoys midsummer weather.

Hello everyone. It has been 1 year now since Dad left us.
 
He is missed very much - but it gives me peace to know he

is in a much better place and is pleased that we are

continuing to move on with our lives. I just know that is

what he would want for us to do.

I do hope you had a good weekend and if you wanted

the Seattle Seahawks to win the Super Bowl, you should be

a happy camper! They played a great game. I was not that

impressed with many of the commercials this year and I
 
strongly felt the "COKE" one should have been in all

English .... just say'n .... and the half-time show did not

interest me at all. So, I sat and used my iPad while that was

on and turned the TV down! I guess to each his own.

Well, enough about football and the Super Bowl. Here we are

in the month of February. Closer to Spring is what I am thinking.
