Here you will always find the American flag
waving and the American eagle flying.
What a wonderful feelingthis can be!
This year, the summer solstice coincides with Father’s Day (Sunday, June 21).
What a way to herald the beginning of summer!
Summer Solstice
The timing of the summer solstice depends on when the Sun reaches
its farthest
point north of the equator. This occurs annually sometime
between June 20 and
22. This year, it occurs exactly at 12:38 P.M. EDT on June 21.
Father’s Day
Like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day has a modern origin. The idea came
to Mrs. John
Dodd as she listened to a Mother’s Day sermon in 1910. Her
father, William
Smart, had raised his children alone on his Spokane,
Washington farm after his
wife died giving birth to their sixth child.
Make use of these long hours of sunshine—to walk in the woods,
take a dip in the lake, BBQ outdoors, watch the sunset,
or do whatever
you feel is worth doing!

How lonely this does look, but still in good shape.
Wow, our farm equipment sure has come a long way!
Just love the bucket and those fine brown eggs.
A old work bench with a neat sprinkling can, and
of course the tricycle is unique, and don't forget
the special white picket fence in the background.
Wow, a fine bumper crop of melons!
Love this picture! Two of my favorites!
A contented kitty and sunflowers.
Still taking a break from the chocolate fix.
